Toby is an adorable Labrador mix who was found abandoned in Romania and trying to survive on whatever scraps he could find to eat. We are not 100% absolutely certain he is a full Labrador, but he certainly looks it.

Toby was adopted in November 2025, but unfortunately his adopter’s working hours have increased considerably since then and he is now being crated up to 9 hours a day, which is totally unfair on him so, although heartbreaking, she has asked us to find a new home for him.

His adopter says:

Toby is such a sweetheart, very loving and a real velcro dog - follows you everywhere. Can be walked off the lead in safe areas. Good with other dogs, I walk him with my daughter and her dog. Great with my grandchildren, 3 and 4 years old. No food or toy guarding issues. Is crate trained and goes in of his own accord. Fully house trained. Does like to be next to you. Likes chew toys. Doesn't like you talking on the phone, will bring you toys for attention 😅. Travels well in the car. Can pull a little on the lead, but better with a harness.”

He is a very sociable boy who is friendly with other dogs and people. He has a typical Labrador happy temperament and would be a wonderful addition to any family. 

As Toby is currently reserved and ready to move into his new home, we are not currently taking any further applications for him, but if his circumstances were to change we will open up applications again
