Rufus (Rory) was surrendered back to rescue a few months ago through no fault of his own, but due to his adopter’s change in circumstances. He has been at the kennels near Wisbech for a while and we would really like to see this handsome boy in his forever home so he has a reduced adoption donation of £250 (usually £450).

Rufus is one of the kennel staff’s favourites as he is a gentle boy and has a lovely temperament. He gets on well with dogs of all sizes and is very sociable with the girls. He walks well on the lead and loves playing with the other dogs in the paddock. He is very respectful to the other dogs, especially the small ones.

He travels well in the car, is house trained and would be a wonderful addition for a family. He can be a little unsure of men upon first meeting, but he does warm up to them once he knows he is safe around them.

A rural or semi rural home would be perfect for Rufus, as he thoroughly enjoys long walks and running in the fields, with perhaps a female dog for companionship as he currently shares his kennel with Chloe who is his best buddy.
