Poor Balto was found with a rope around his neck, tied so tight that it had cut into his throat, causing the muscles to be atrophied (shrunken and partly withered), which has resulted in him not being able to bark properly. At that time, the injury also affected his ability to walk.

He is now fully recovered following the love and care given to him by the RinTinTin vets and the team at the shelter and Balto is now ready for his forever home.

Balto is a gorgeous gentle giant, who a very happy boy with a wonderful gentle temperament. He is sociable with people and good around other dogs: in fact, he loves everything that moves and acts like an overgrown pup at times! 🥰

He is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered and will be ready to travel in mid-July once he has had a blood test for Brucellosis at the APHA laboratories in the UK.
